At Steer, Germán leads the strategy for Latin America and is part of the executive team, focusing on the planning, structuring, and delivery of public transport and infrastructure projects. With a distinguished background in transport consultancy, he specialises in creating innovative solutions for sustainable transport systems, designing financing models, and providing strategic advice to governments, multilateral organisations, and the private sector.

Throughout his career, Germán has played a key role in developing significant infrastructure projects in Latin America. He made a pivotal contribution to the design and implementation of TransMilenio, the renowned BRT system in Bogotá. His experience covers all project phases, from planning and design to transaction structuring, financing management, public consultation, and successful implementation.

In his most recent projects, he has worked closely with governments and international organisations to structure and advise on complex transactions and the modernisation of transport infrastructure, delivering tangible results such as strengthening intercity connectivity and enhancing the sustainability of public transport systems in the region. Germán is recognised as a leading figure in the sector, driving solutions that are transforming urban mobility in Latin America.
