Steer Davies Gleave is supporting ‘Transport Debate 2010’ a website for professionals involved in the transport sector to voice their opinions and bring their transport priorities to the forefront of the political agenda.
The online forum, set up by TransportPR, comes at a crucial time with the UK moving towards its 2010 election. Topics from climate change, high-speed rail, road-user charging and financing to local governance, cycling and road safety are being debated and discussed by several government and industry experts.
Marion Gourlay, Director of Transport Debate believes that "The transport sector was desperately in need of a place to express its ideas and viewpoints - quickly and simply. No matter the result on 6th May, there will be much less money around for transport projects. Transport professionals must act smarter to attract investment into our industry. Transport Debate is one way their voice can be heard."
