The National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) recently published its study examining the resilience of the UK’s infrastructure. To support the analysis undertaken as part of this, NIC commissioned Steer to investigate methodologies used to set committed Levels of Service across four infrastructure sectors – energy, water, transport and digital.
This research helped the NIC to develop its evidence behind its first recommendation, aimed at using standards to drive better outcomes.
