Last Wednesday 11th June, Steer Davies Gleave ran a Personalised Travel Planning (PTP) workshop at its London office.

The PTP workshop was a chance for industry professionals to reflect on their delivery of PTP over the last three years and share their lessons learnt. Attendees included local authority representatives, PTP team leaders and experts from Steer Davies Gleave.

During the day, several case studies were covered providing an insight into the delivery of different kinds of PTP: residential, on-street and work-based, as well as experiences of how to achieve a lasting legacy. The monitoring and evaluation aspect of PTP was explored with particular reference to the different approaches, from ‘light touch’ customer satisfaction follow up calls to detailed before and after trip diaries. The day ended with a discussion about what is next for PTP post LSTF.
