Steer is very pleased to welcome Richard Batty as Associate Director in the Washington D.C office. Richard has more than 30 years’ experience in strategy and organisational effectiveness for airports and other transportation organisations in North America, Europe and Asia.
Prior to Steer, Richard worked at consulting firms ICF and LeighFisher, advising on strategic planning and organisational reviews for U.S. airports and seaports including those in Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Boston, San Diego, San Jose and Hawaii.
Before 2012, Richard was based in London and worked in the U.K. rail industry for 10 years. He advised on Network Rail’s acquisition of Railtrack, then set up and led its internal consulting team, assisting senior management with a turnaround of business performance and organisational effectiveness.
At Steer, Richard will advise U.S. airports and other transportation clients on strategy, organisational development, and major investment decisions.
